1. Overview
We strive to ensure that our customers are completely satisfied with their purchases. Our Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds will be issued for products purchased through our online platform called Gramedha.
As an FMCG company dealing with food and daily consumable items, we maintain strict hygiene and quality control standards. Therefore, refunds or replacements are only processed in cases of valid issues such as product damage, quality concerns, or incorrect delivery.
2. Eligibility for Refund
A refund may be issued under the following circumstances:
- Damaged or defective product: If the product is received in damaged condition or is found defective.
- Wrong item delivered: If you receive a product different from the one ordered.
- Expired or spoiled item: If the product delivered is past its expiry date or shows spoilage.
- Order not delivered: If your order is undelivered due to courier or system error and payment has been processed.
Note: Refunds are not applicable for:
- Opened or partially used consumable items.
- Products returned without original packaging or invoice.
- Change of mind or incorrect product ordered by the customer.
3. Refund Process
To initiate a refund:
- Contact our Customer Support within 48 hours of delivery via [Customer Support Email/Phone/Chat].
- Provide your order ID, details of the issue, and supporting images/videos (in case of damaged or incorrect items).
- Our team will verify the claim within 2–3 business days.
- Once verified, we will:
- Issue a refund to your original payment method, or
- Arrange a replacement or store credit as per your preference.
4. Refund Timeline
- Online payment (Credit/Debit Card, UPI, Wallets): 5–7 business days after approval.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): Refund will be processed through bank transfer or store credit within 7–10 business days after approval.
5. Return Pick-up (if applicable)
In case a product return is required:
- Our logistics partner will schedule a pick-up at your delivery address.
- The product must be returned in its original packaging with all tags, seals, and invoices.
- Once the returned item passes quality inspection, the refund will be processed.
6. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled before dispatch from our warehouse.
- Once dispatched, cancellations are not allowed. You may, however, refuse delivery, and the refund (if applicable) will be processed once the product is received back at our facility.
7. Exceptions
Certain product categories are non-returnable and non-refundable due to hygiene and safety reasons, including:
- Fresh or frozen foods
- Perishable items
- Personal care and hygiene products
